The real story.
Thats me, looking a little younger, sitting on one of the first sets of our stools.
…made from a tree in Malvern.
It all started when…
I was 5, climbing trees roaming my father’s farm in Outback Victoria
that’s where my love for trees was born
as a kid, nothing but my hands and feet (often without shoes, sorry mum!)
climbing, jumping, swinging
That’s where this love story begins.
Fast forward 18 years…..
after earning my qualification as an arborist, spending three years working with one of Melbourne’s Elite Arborist firms.
I was a rising star in the Industry.
Destined for big things.
But I was frustrated.
Frustrated, angry and pissed off
how could it be?
How could something I love, make me miserable.
Well, the problem was never the trees,
the rose coloured glasses had been torn off.
I had realised, that in an industry of so called “tree carers”
I was surrounded by tree murderers
“arborists” who would lop, chop and destroy trees, just to make a dollar.
My love for my job was slowly being whittled away
I did something about it.
Out of that frustration, Treeincarnation was born.
A tree removal, tree pruning company, that actually cared about trees
…Australia’s only 100% sustainable Arborist firm.
A place where 100% of the trees we remove or prune are Up-cycled or Re-cycled.
Sometimes as furniture, sometimes by helping another tree’s lifecycle.
A place that can be a catalyst for change in an industry that so desperately needs it.
Incredible tree work.
Service that blows people away
all whilst being kind to trees, and 100% sustainable.
Now, I’m thrilled to say that we are well on the way to doing just that.
But we still have a long way to go.
Our mission is to reform the industry, to make everyone feel good about tree removal, to ensure that no tree goes wasted.
To end the era of tree murderers.
Mahatma Ghandi said “be the change you wish to see in the world”
we try to embody this every day.
We have a long way to go, but day by day, we get closer to our goal.
Thanks for helping us on this journey.
